
August Moore has appeared in Ninth Letter, The Adroit Journal, Pinhole Poetry, Alien Magazine, Speakeasy Magazine, Foothills Journal, and elsewhere. His honors include teaching fellowships from Princeton University, a Fulbright Scholarship, the Robert B. House Memorial Prize in Poetry, the Foothills Journal Editor’s Prize selected by Patricia Smith, and nominations for both the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. In 2020, he spearheaded Sauti, a poetry installation for the United Nations, featuring work from more than twenty countries in seven languages. He holds an MFA from New York University, where he taught undergraduate workshops in fiction and poetry, and currently writes for The Legal Aid Society in New York City.
